In 2024, the company switched to using LED light bulbs, reducing from 20W to 18W, and replaced fluorescent lights with solar-powered lights, saving a total of 113,830.84 kilowatt-hours of electricity.

Water Management

The company use both raw water and tap water, accounting for 100% of our total water consumption. Consequently, we consistently monitors and assesses the integrity of our water distribution system to ensure compliance with standards. In our Head Office Building, adjustments are made to regulate water flow rates to sanitary fixtures, and wastewater is effectively managed, with 100% of effluent volume passing through the building’s treatment system.

The company focuses on promoting water conservation across all sectors to minimize impact on water resources and ensure sustainable management.

Waste and Pollution Management

We have implemented a comprehensive waste management system following the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R) in our business operations. This includes an efficient waste sorting system and efforts to raise awareness and involve stakeholders to minimize waste disposal through landfills. Moreover, the company conducts environmental quality assessments in our offices and facilities at least once a year.

In 2024, our headquarters produced a total of 218,930 kilograms of landfill waste.

  • 18,638 kg of paper waste and 1,939 kg of plastic waste were recycled into 12 recycled chairs now used in the office.
  • Aluminum waste, 123 kilograms.
  • Hazardous waste, 63 kilograms.
  • Infectious waste, 1 kilograms, was properly disposed of by designated responsible parties.

In addition, the company participated in year-round activities such as collecting electronic waste to exchange for trees planted in collaboration with partners. This included communication efforts for E-Waste Day with Advanced Info Service Plc. (AIS), and joint sustainability projects with partners like SCG Packaging Plc. (SCGP) and the Wake up Waste platform by SCG Chemicals Plc. These initiatives promoted proper waste sorting and recycling, enabling the company to exchange fully recycled paper for use as New Year gifts distributed to various departments across the organization.

Greenhouse Gas Management

In 2024, we had direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions of 3,058 and 7,125 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, respectively. This adds up to about 10,183 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent for the whole year. Moreover, the company measured our greenhouse gas emissions in three scopes and developed the carbon footprint.

Long-term target: to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 10% within the next five years.

In 2024, the company’s operations, product development, material reduction efforts, and increased recycling have further supported environmental sustainability through three additional initiatives such as

  1. TIDLOR Card  reduced paper consumption by 83,569 kilograms and carbon dioxide emissions by 175,662.03 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent.
  2. E-Billing and E-Receipt reduced paper consumption by 29,958 kilograms and carbon dioxide emissions by 62,971.72 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent.
  3. Utilization of alternative materials and recycled waste: Reduced material usage and increased recycled waste by 20,859.73 kilograms, cutting carbon dioxide emissions by an equivalent of 48,394.57 kilograms.
